![]() We started with SKSE as one does, only to find that even just that and SkyUI completely broke his copy of Skyrim. My husband recently reinstalled vanilla Skyrim on his system (he also runs his games off a separate internal storage drive like me, dunno if that affects anything) and, as is par for the course, decided to download some mods. ![]() It's a general SKSE error and not really related to Enderal Try turning off controlled folder access: Originally posted by overdev:log looks good, no issues there. I can't post the contents of the launcher.log file here as it results in going over the 18000 character limit, so I've uploaded it here:ĮDIT: Steam won't let me post the link to the file, not sure how to get the info here as it's far too big for this forum and mediafire links are blocked. Again, none of my other games have had an issue like this. The E:/ drive is internal, however, it is a 1TB internal storage drive where the majority of my games run from. Windows defender is the only one I have running constantly. However, I only have the free version which does not run unless I manually open it, so I don't think that's blocking the program. I only have one third-party antivirus - Malwarebytes. I've never had this cause issues before and it seems I am locked out of changing it. The Enderal folder is set to read-only, just like all folders in my steamlibrary, and despite me attempting multiple methods to disable this, it constantly reverts to being read-only no matter what I do. ![]() It's located in "Enderal\EnderalLauncher\system\log" those should not be used for playing games in general.Ĭan you post the content from the log of the launcher? Is your second drive "E" an internal or external drive? there are issues with external drives in general. Maybe the Enderal folder or a sub folder of it is set to read only. Originally posted by overdev:like I said either a program is blocking it (it can be a third party program aswell) or Windows permissions are missing but you have tried everything now. I have also tried running both the Launcher and this game's version of TESV.exe in admin mode, neither of which have helped. Lastly I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, and it still does not launch. Then, I tried verifying the files - it found 3 missing files in the verification but even after downloading them, it failed to launch. I first tried opening the game on different settings with various additional options disabled, which did not work. This window closes after a few seconds and thus far my attempts to fix this have failed. I'd heard good things about this total conversion and decided to give it a try today, however upon clicking "play" on the launcher, I get a CMD box with the following error log: I posted this in the support sub-forum on the 15th and have thus for not received any response from anybody so I'm going to post it again here, as I am still having this issue.
